Reality Outreach Inc.

Reality Outreach Inc. is a grassroots non-profit organization, comprised of peers and professionals, dedicated to the service of humanity assisting individuals, families and communities in the process of transformation and healing. We are a recovery support agency of multicultural, multi disciplined entities from spiritual, behavioral medical and mental health specialists.

Our specialists are professionally trained in a variety of practices and disciplines to meet the needs of men, women, youth and families in their healing process. We are a community based, culturally competent, trauma/crisis informed collaborative organization. Together we concentrate on the areas of recovering from trauma, homelessness, incarceration, mental health and substance use/misuse. We are confident that our services will have a profound impact on families & individuals which are open to the community.

OUR VISION

Our Vision is to provide Men and Women in Recovery with the encouragement and direction they need to build healthy, productive families and communities. We assist individuals in despair in the following capacity:

• To utilize their life experiences, education to provide peer support and motivation.

• Provide men and women with the necessary skills they need to make changes within their lives and relationships

• Provide resources and referrals to agencies in our community and surrounding towns that can assist in the transition in the recovery process.

• Teaching and providing participants the techniques they will need to advocate for themselves through perseverance.

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to our website! We hope you will find all you need to know about who we are, what services we provide and so much more. We have a data tracking system, research and insight to develop new, innovative ideas that will assist us with strengthen our communities. We built our website to make it much easier to find and share resources & information.

We continue to be inspired by the passion and dedication to our communities and the people who are socially challenged in their basic living situation. Local providers, faith based community program directors, policymakers, funders and advocates, all working on behalf of individuals and families in need.

As part of our commitment to keeping our work easily accessible, we have created a website with additional resources, better tools, and a new visual design to support the work in the areas of family restoration, recovery, homelessness, anger management, mentoring, parenting, coaching and constant updates to our Community Pantry associated with Amazon. Stay tuned in the coming months for new resources in each of these areas.

Self-Management And Recovery Training (SMART) is a global community of mutual-support groups. At meetings, participants help one another resolve problems with any addiction (to drugs or alcohol or to activities such as gambling or over-eating). Participants find and develop the power within themselves to change and lead fulfilling and balanced lives guided by our science-based and sensible 4-Point Program®.
